Ambulance Dispatcher
Duties and Responsibilities:
Under supervision this position performs a variety of skills and semi-skilled
functions in support of the dispatch center receives and dispatches emergency
and non-emergency calls from the public for the Police, Fire and EMS Personnel
and other services provides Emergency Medical Dispatch direction and
participates in the work of a dispatcher call taker and performs other duties
as assigned.
Salary:
$10.19-$22.31 Yearly $22,533-$51,701
Education:
Ambulance Dispatchers have to work as an emergency medical dispatch. They must
complete t4raining that meets the standards of national highway Traffic.
Students can find all this type of programs in different colleges. They have to
have a GED they also need to study Emergency medical Dispatcher course and
more.
Reflection I
will not like to become one because this Job looks very unexciting. To add on,
the only thing they mean to do is sit down on a chair and just answer an
unconcerning phone call .This is why this job looks so not-interesting to me
and the salary is very low I will like to make more money than a dispatcher
pfff I could make more money working at somewhere!.
