THE RIGHT THING

“In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing.”
-Theodore Roosevelt

Reflection: What i think that this means that at any point of day, week, month, year, moment, or exact time, the best thing you could probably do is the only thing that crosses your mind of course, do the correct thing. The best thing to do in a harsh dilemma is probably the right thing, otherwise you might end up with a shiner, or bad conscience, or worse. Probably for an example i would say that if you had two alternatives one bad and one good in a situation of stealing or leaving. You are in a store and you have a gun in your back pocket. There are no cameras and no security, a perfect chance to get away with a severe crime. But before you act you pause to think, what's best? Stealing and probably murdering. Or leaving and have a scar on your conscience which will be a reminder for you forever, you would do a bad crime or be a good person who chose the right at that moment and forever maybe.
