Duties and Responsibilities: These workers are expected to be experts in two general areas:

•       Business management,
•         Health care.

•     The wide range of duties and responsibilities of nursing home administrators requires knowledge of facilities operations, financial planning, and personnel management. Regular duties of nursing home administrators vary according to the size of the facilities but often include the following:
•       Supervising staff,
•     Monitoring patient/resident care,
•     Promoting the institution to the public,
•     Ensuring that confidentiality is maintained.
•     Etc.

Salary: $47,860-$118,716

Education: You will need a four-year bachelor’s degree and will likely need a state licensing examination.
